Accessing database

hi!

is it possible to access data stored on my zoho database using external php?

i mean: I'm amazed about zoho creator simplicity and for sure i'm gonna use it (thanx!). but some features i need are not supported (still) by zoho creator. so... is it possible to build your own code and access database using a username/password connection to the server provide by zoho?
