Add co-hosts in meetings, manage webinar registration and other enhancements

Hello all,
This month's updates allow you to add co-hosts while scheduling meetings. You can also control your webinar registrations better by allowing or blocking registrations from the domain or country of your choice. Read on to learn more.

Meeting updates

Features
Add co-hosts to meetings
You can now make your organization members co-hosts of the meetings you schedule. Co-hosts can start and manage meetings in your absence. They can also leave the meeting without ending it.
 
Enhancements
  • Duplicate participant handling: Zoho Meeting can now recognize a user joining from the same browser multiple times. This user will be encouraged to join from a single tab and will not be duplicated in the attendees list of the meeting window.
  • Manage meeting recordings: You can now enable public sharing for your meeting recordings. If you want to make a recording inaccessible later, you can simply un-share it.
  • You can now delete old recordings in bulk without having to delete each recording separately.
  • Bandwidth optimization for better audio quality
  • Optimizations to reduce re-connections during sessions
Bugfixes
Some Meeting users reported an issue making their video feeds mirrored. This issue has been fixed.

Webinar updates

Features
  • Allow or block registrations: You can now allow or block registrations from a certain domain or a country. For example, if you are expecting registrations from business accounts, you can block registrations from public domains like gmail, yahoo etc. Similarly, if you're targeting an audience from a specific country, you can enable registrations for that country or block registrations from other countries.
  • You can now set a registration limit to manage the number of attendees for your webinar.
  • You can now make Zoho account login mandatory for attendees to join your webinar if needed.
  • The joining URLs for meetings and registration URLs for webinars are now shortened for ease of use.
 
Bugfixes
Some users reported an issue preventing new admins from starting webinars scheduled by other members in their organization. This issue has been fixed.

  • You can now send feedback to Zoho Meeting during webinars
  • We've added swipe support for "back" actions in your Edge browser
  • We also revamped the exit UI for webinars
 
Android app v2.1.9
  • Co-organizers can now join webinars from their Android devices
 We've also revamped the exit UI for meetings and webinars 

Common update
Add custom URLs from your Android or iOS device to re-direct your audience when your webinar ends.
