apparent bug - field value not showing up

hi,

i've got a strange problem. have shared access with support.

there is a record with a blank "campaign". however, when i submitted and try to edit, i set the value of the campaign to "FY08_UNS_DD_MR5E39-3152_SearchServer'08Express_Pofr". however, when i submit this, the view that comes up shows the "campaign" field as blank.

thoughts?
