I am hoping someone a little smarter than I can assist. My company is moving to Zoho and so far it is great! 

We have renamed the "Accounts" module to "Organisations." There are two types of organisations - Prospects and Customers. This is selected/defined from a Pick-List form.

I am trying to achieve that every customer is assigned a unique "Customer Account Number" based on an Auto-Number field. If i put the field in the layout, it generates every organisation a number. Is there way to restrict the Auto-Number generation to only organisations that have customer value selected from the Pick-List field?
