Auto populate multiple fields in Contacts from Accounts

Hi all,

We're brand new to Zoho CRM, and I need to be able to copy data from an account to the contact.  We need to do this because of how we want to group contacts.
E.g. We send targeted emails to All contacts with a tenancy in Building A, we also use the Business Type to target contacts

We have the fields in the Accounts and Contacts, and I need to push this to the Contact so that I can group on it (since I can't group contacts by an account field).

To:

    1. Fields: Buildings, Business Types

I've had a look at some of the functions here:

But with all these, I didn't know where to put the function (workflow, or custom function), and when I tried they generally just errored.

Once I can get some coding that would suit our organisation, I'm sure I'll be able to adapt it, but if any one can assist with the initial code, that would be greatly appreciated.
