Auto-updating the address of the customers through the Zoho CRM mobile app

Imagine you are a field representative whose work is predominantly outside the office. You travel to places and get to connect with people from different walks of life while you are on the road. Interesting isn't it? It's easy to interact with people and gather their details but the challenge comes when you try to update their address details. Especially when you are in a place which you are not familiar or in another country (all those street names along with state/county confusions).

 

Wouldn't it be nice if the address details are captured and updated within the record automatically on the app?

 

On the CRM mobile app there is an option through which you can capture the locations' address details. Here is how you can do it:

  • Go to the CRM mobile app.

  • Go to the Leads/ Contacts/ Accounts module.

  • Tap the 'Nearby me' map view icon available at the top right corner.

  • Tap and hold the location on the app whose address you would like to capture.

  • Tap the '+' icon to add it as a record (lead/contact/ account).

  • Save the record.
