I just arrived at Zoho Creator today in search of a simple way to embed some databases I have in my web sites.
Totally basic... table view, ability for my web site visitors to sort and search, NO editing capabilities and NO form filling by any site visitors.
I tried a basic setup with the trial version after I signed up and what I ended up with using the embed code is overkill. Edit controls are there as are form views, etc... stuff I don't want. Who wants their web site visitors to change their data??? The same was true when I used the email share option. Too much edit control by those who should just be looking.
As with most people I don't mind paying for "extras", but I'd like to know what I'll need to pay for my bare-bones app.
I looked at the pricing plans, but am still not sure.
Assuming my database is small enough, can I do what I want with the Free plan?
Is the record count limit per database or across all databases I create?
I'm sure I'll have more questions, but let me start with those.
