Look how a dropdown field from a form looks in FF 3.6


and the same field in the same form in IE 8:



You can see that the longer records are truncated in IE, and in some cases the public forms may become useless, being impossible for them to properly display the records from a dropdown field in the most used browser worldwide.

Please solve this as soon as possible, because it may cause real problems to some users. I've spent hours to find a new solution in order to avoid the dropdown display on a public fom (where radiobuttons' use was not a solution).

And I hope that situations like this, when a basic feature ceases its proper functioning after an update, will happen more rarely and will be solved fast.
