#BiginnersTips - WhatsApp Integration- Post 1

Are you looking to integrate WhatsApp with your Bigin account? Here's a workaround!
 
We understand the need for instant communication and that's why we're building a native integration between WhatsApp and Bigin. While our team is working on it, we wanted to share some quick workarounds which can help you connect your Bigin account with WhatsApp and always stay on top of customer conversations.
 
Please try these two workarounds and let us know if you find them useful.

 
Workaround #1 - Pick an integration from the Bigin Marketplace
 
We recommend two applications- Twilio & MessageBird from our Marketplace built by our partner Ulgebra which offers a way to connect your WhatsApp account with the contacts and deals module.

How both these extension's work with Bigin?
 
    • Connect with any Bigin contact or deal using the Twilio or MesaageBird extension. Maintain a record of incoming and outgoing WhatsApp messages as notes within the respective contact or deal record.

    • Send messages in bulk by selecting multiple contacts or deals. 
       
    • Manage all conversations within the Twilio/MessageBird Inbox, where you can access any conversation, view the chat history, and send messages. Search for any contact number to view a specific conversation.

Workaround #2 - Use Zapier or Zoho Flow to connect Bigin with Woztell
 
Woztell is a conversational platform that you can use to manage customer communications on WhatsApp Cloud. It also enables you to automate messages and actions, create targeted marketing campaigns, store files, and more.

With Zapier and Zoho Flow, you can send info between Woztell and Bigin automatically. There's no additional coding required. Every time you receive a message/call on WhatsApp, this integration stores it in your Bigin account as a note.
 
Triggers are initiated in Bigin when a WhatsApp message is received.
 
Actions such as Welcome Message are performed when a new contact is added in Bigin.
