Button on Deal screen to automate changing deal dates?

Hi
I spend a lot of time working with our accounts managers here moving deals around the calendar, qualifying things etc. 

I'd like to have an easy way to change the closing date on a deal, from the deal screen table, rather than either click in to the deal, or use the mass update. The mass update is fine is there are multiple deals but if you want to skim over them, and easily change the dates, then filling out that box is actually more work than clicking in to the deal. 

In other CRMs we've been able to edit the date field on that Deal table, which is a great approach. 

In Zoho land, is it possible for me to create a button or a menu item on the Deals table view (not the Deal record view) that just prompts for a date, and then changes the Closing Date value of the chosen Deal to to that value?
