Buttons?

Is there a straightforward way to add buttons to Creator? I want to offer a menu of choices - 'add a record'; 'view a list' and so on - and I'd like to do that with some big, clear buttons, which have scripts linked to them

Linked to that - can I go to a certain form/view when a button is clicked?

Sorry if this is all obvious stuff, but I haven't been able to work it out so far!
