Calendar view bug - View, Edit, Cancel loop

In a Calendar view, my users get stuck in loop of modal boxes when they:
  1. click a record to view details
  2. click Edit
  3. click Cancel
  4. click Close
  5. click Cancel
  6. click Close
  7. repeats...
Of course, the trick to closing these modal windows it to click the "Close" button in the top-right corner. Please make the "Cancel" button close the Edit modal window. "Cancel" functions as expected when in a List view.
