Chart display and properties do not keep their settings

Chart display and properties do not keep their settings

I have a view in edit mode, and have the display type default to chart. if i try to update its properties, sorting, or change title and size in the display type, each counteracts each other and defaults the chart to original settings. The only configuration I am allowed to do at the same time is sorting and properties. I can not configure display type Title, Width, and Height and keep the settings. Is there something I can do, maybe in deluge?
