Charts not displaying in embedded web pages
Problem: Test computers where not able to see charts embedded into web pages. A view Chart was embedded with private link. The only viewable portion was the frame, the chart image was blank. Interesting enough, this was a problem for Mac: firefox and safari. On a PC: Internet explorer only. Firefox worked on a pc.
Test 1: Create view as public.
Result 1: Still the same problem.
Test 2: The embedded link provided gives two options for private and public links.
Result 2: That option does nothing but change the color of its option box.
Test 3: Use the private link from the permalink, and replace it within the embedded link.
Result 3: Still same problem
Test 4:
Delete all cookies, browser history, etc on pc.
Result 4: Still same problem
Test 5: Logon to zoho on to 2 test computers (mac and pc) with application administrator logon. Then logout.
Result 5: Once logged out of zoho, All web browsers displayed the charts.
Test 6: Delete all cookies, browser history, etc on pc.
Result6: back to the original problem
Analysis - Logging on to the computers provided some type of file recognition for the browsers and made the charts work. However this is not a viable solution. I have no problem embedding forms and list views with a private link, and all web browsers can see those. But for view charts, the computer needs to have the administrator logon at least once.
Question - Can the charts' private embedded links be built to work as strong as forms and list views? Thanks for your help.
