Consulting a period

Hello,

Someone knows if is there some way to create a report/view on which I can specify a certain period (for example, from 01/01/2009 to 01/22/2009?

I have a field "date" on the form, and would like to filter, for example, on report, the records of determined period of date.

Is this possible? Thank you again in advance. :)
