When I create a case, I want to use some of the data collected and entered as part of that case, to then update the customer card.
For instance, the case allows the user to input a future date, which I would then like to see in a specific field in the customer account.
Likewise, the case asks for some free text to be entered, which again I would like to copy into the customer card, but again in a specific field.
When using the workflow, update record, the workflow normally allows the records being updated to be blank, or have specific data entered. Rather than having specific data entered, is it possible to copy the data held in another field?
The custom functions are beyond my capabilities, unless someone would be kind enough, to illustrate examples of code that would allow this to happen, which I could copy, but edit to refer to the specific field labels.
