Create a function to clone deals after it is closed

I want to create an automated workflow to clone an existing deal after it is closed. The new deal is for our sales team to follow up with our customers about their maintenance renewal. 

Existing process
After our sales team close a deal, they have to manually clone that deal and do the following 5 things for the maintenance renewal.
