Creating a module, editing field properties of 'module name'

When creating a new module, is it possible to change the field properties of the module name?

Or should i create this in ZOHO Creator?

Company uses a lot of 'quotes' - and it is impractical to name every quote. It is a commodity trader and sometimes during a phonecall, some 20 or more quotes for products are given and received. 

I have tried to edit the 'Quote Name' in the module 'Quotes' but that is not allowed.
I have tried making a new module and change the field properties of Module Name, for example into an 'auto number' field, but that is not allowed either.

I presume i have to create a module in ZOHO Creator, but just wanted to make sure that this is the best way.
