Creation of a databased web form

Hello,

I am not a programmer. I only know VB6. I found your system very useful. But in spite of my hard work I could not create a simple application: when user enters a user Id and a password, the program checks whether the user has access rights and if so opens a web page to view a flash presentation. Thats all.

I also need to be able to have means to enter the UserId and Passwords of the clients to a database. If the USerID and password has a specific combination, then two new fields become visible so that I can enter userID and passwords into the database through a submit button. If the passwords expiration time so the clients cannot enter the site after a predetermined time would also be useful.

So I created two entry fields: one is User ID, the other Password. I also added two hidden fields called AddUSerID and AddPassword. But I could not create a script to show these when the user is me with a specific userid and passsword combination . Therefore I could not continue after this to even create the database. Could you please help me to be able to do this? Thank you
