Creator Application, Calendar view does not work correctly in embed

Creator Application, Calendar view does not work correctly in embed

When viewed with the Creator App the calendar view shows arrows to go forward and back in months or years.

I have embedded the report as a calendar view but the forward and back arrows do not display, I have no way to navigate from the current month. How do I make the arrows appear in an embedded view?
