Creator Search Behavior

I'm having problem editing records within a searched subset of records. If I save an edit, the search criteria does not remain persistent and I'm returned to the entire set of records. This forces me to reenter the search criteria after every edit - not practical.

This used to function as expected (search subset remaining after saved edits) but has not worked for almost the past month. I've have provided feedback on this and my application is shared with zoho support.
