custom field formula string outputing carriage return

custom field formula string outputing carriage return

Hello,

I have created a custom field returning a string, (that I display in a Inventory template), I would like to be able to insert some carriage return in that string. 

Let me know if we can output that, i have tried <br> or \n but it just prints those characters.
