I have written a couple of custom functions that I use to update various summary fields in different modules. However it appears that if a user doesn't have read/write access to the fields then the custom function cannot update and re-calculate the fields.
Is this correct? I have been searching through the online help and this forum but can't seem to find any reference to this being the case.
Ideally I want to be able to update the fields without users being able to modify them manually.
