Darn Skinny Text Column

I have a very large table of data, and one of the columns is a "Comments" field. These comments are multiple lines of text usually. The problem is that the column is quite narrow in the view, which results in each line only holding one or two words and making the row very tall. Not only does this look terrible, but it also is very difficult to read.

I propose being able to set the column widths in the "view" settings to avoid this.
