Date, Date-Time, but how about Time?


I do remember there was a response here to a time only field like "it's on our road-map". I want to emphasize the importance of this right now:

In a form using the current Date-Time input feature, I find the implementation frustrating because:
1. It's in military time, and most western nations are more familiar to AM/PM notation
2. I don't need seconds, or at least I'd like to have to option not to display seconds
3. In some cases (browsers) the java app does not appear and manual entry is cumbersome (19 characters to type!)

I'd like for Zoho to provide a Time Field for forms with options to display 24 or 12 hr mode, yes/no for seconds, and maybe even defined increments and ranges.

In my current application, I had to create a significant amount of deluge script to allow my users to type, for example, 08:15 AM as a text string and then validate the format and convert it to a time portion in a date-time field so creator understands it.
