Deluge - Fetch Records

Hi, all! I'm new here, and new to using this platform. I've got a form with a whole lot of radio buttons and dropdowns, and I'd like to add a feature that would copy the previous record's entries to the current form. So, I don't have two different forms with a relationship between them, but rather a form that is filled out, and then on to the next record. I'm told there's no single function for this, but that a Decision box plus Fetch Records can accomplish this; but I'm not quite seeing how to do that. Support gave me this: https://www.zoho.com/creator/help/script/auto-populate-forms.html, and explained to just use the same form name throughout; but I don't think that's quite what I'm trying to do. Is what I'm asking making sense? Enter all fields on a form, submit, move on to next record, same form, and have a button that will copy previous fields' entries forward.
