different field access in forms for public and shared users

Is there any way that I can make the entire form available to my shared users but only a portion available to the public in my embedded form? At the moment I can only see a way to make a portion available to both my shared users and the public and only myself have access to the entire form. If this is the only way, is there a work around using the client API or would I have to make the entire form public to use the client API?
