Drop Down List: Hide -Select- from choices

Can I hide the listed choice of -Select- from my Drop Down list?  

I have a form drop down control which I set to a default value for new records.  If they click the the drop down, they see my alternate choices along with Zoho's -Select-.  

Can I remove that from the drop down list?
