Email Alert Workflow not triggering when Lead imported from Website using Ninjaforms

Hi, 

This is the first time I've posted on these forums, normally I'm able to find the answer to an existing question or fumble my way around an issue however this one has me stumped.

I am trying to get Email Alerts to work properly and have encountered a bit of a problem.

To start with I will explain that we have a ZohoCRM Enterprise License & I *think* what I want to achieve should be possible - At the moment I have a number of Email Alerts set up to trigger when a Lead is created (sort of similar to an auto-attend email except we are not using Zoho Forms).

All works well when a Lead is manually created & the email triggers and sends, problems are occuring when a Lead is created from our Website Webform (NinjaForm) which is set to import the Lead into ZohoCRM.

If the Webform is completed, a Lead is created in Zoho & all of the relevant information is populated as expected, however the Email Alert Workflow does not trigger.

I cannot see any differences between a Lead created in this way & one that is created manually, is anybody able to shed any light on the issue & offer a solution?

I've tried to include all relevant info/details but I can provide further if necessary.
