When using Zoho's email data feature, is it possible to email data with a formula field?

For instance, if I have a formula field (fmlaContact) that will concatenate the data of a first name and last name, can I update the database via email by simply leaving the formula field blank?

Eg:

FirstName:Leo

LastName:Leonardo

fmlaContact:
