Example of Radio Buttom on change failure

I created two public applications:

creator.zoho.com/sharetactics/refactor4/
creator.zoho.com/sharetactics/refactor5/

The only difference between the two is that the "Rate"."Rate a description"."Which description?" form field is a picklist in Refactor4 but type radiobuttons in Refactor5.

Notice that the on change{} block fails to fire in Refactor5 when a different radiobutton is selected, but works fine in Refactor4 when a different picklist item is selected.

This application really calls for radiobuttons but with the current apparent bug it looks like I'm stuck using a picklist.

I'm attaching the two deluge scripts and a screenshot illustrating the difference to this message.
