Extending success message and another question

I've figured out how to send email in response to user input, but have a couple of other questions:

1) I want the user to be see an confirmation of his her record. I've included that in the success message, but the success message only stay on the screen for a couple of seconds. Can I extend the time the success message is visible, or is there another bit of script that would take the user to a confirmation page?

2) Apparently, Creator does not allow the email sent to the selected person to be from the form user. It has to come form the admin email or the user email. Is there a way around that? If not, I've included the user's email address in the email message sent to the selected person. Can that be made clickable so the recipient can reply to the form user without having to input the email address?
