Filter not working

Hi,

If you look at my Dating application, http://zohocreator.com/leejordan/dating/ on the First Dates tab, you will see that there is a First Date where 'sophie jordan' is Person1 and another First Date where 'sophie jordan' is Person2.

If I use the Filter for Person1 = 'sophie jordan' then it shows just the one date. However if I use the filter for Person2 = 'sophie jordan' then it shows the same date as if i were filtering on Person1.

Can you fix this please?

I would also like to be able to offer the user a filter option where they can search on the contents of Person1 or Person2, ie search for any First Dates that include 'sophie jordan', or any other person that they choose.

I can create a Formula field that adds the Person1 and Person2 fields together, but is there some way that the user can filter on this field containing any value that they choose?
