Is it true that formula fields cannot have a space?

I'd like my formula field to dispaly as "Full Name", but I can only get it to display as "Full_Name".

The underscore character looks out of place since the fields right under the "Full Name" field is the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields (no underscores).
