Freeflow Script Issues in Chrome

When I'm at work, behind our corporate firewall and proxy server, I have issues with v16.x Chrome's freeflow script editor. Interestingly, this is not the case for IE.

Part of the issue is rooted in the page css, where using Chrome's inspect element I found that by changing an opacity value to zero, the ghost text is removed. However, there is still an issue with using the mouse cursor to select lines - the cursor seems to still select ghost lines of text.
