Freeflow Scripting Syntax

Ok - Very basic question . . . where can I find some documentation about scripting.
What I'm looking for is just exactly how/when to use {}()[] etc.  What has to be enclosed in what & when.  Sorry - it's got to be the most basic question I could ask but at this stage it would be really helpful!
