Functions - Migration from v1 to v2

Hello everyone!

As you already know, the v1 APIs will reach their end-of-life (EOL) on December 31, 2019, and so will the v1 Integration tasks in functions.

For the customers to migrate their functions to v2 easily, we have

  1. Copied all functions (associated, standalone, and non-associated) to the sandbox environment. 
  2. Marked the functions (under Setup > Developer Space > Functions) that use v1 integration tasks as "Deprecated". 
What should you do?

In your sandbox,

  1. Locate your deprecated functions (tagged as “Deprecated”). Edit the function and change the references of v1 integration tasks to v2. Refer to our Functions - Integration Tasks for more details. Once you have done the changes, save it.
  2. Now, a pop-up notifies you if your function still has references to v1 integration tasks. Otherwise, you are good to go.
  3. Once you are done, check whether the function works as expected. If it is, then deploy it to your production. Learn more on deploying changes to production.

Please note that functions with v1 integration tasks will not work after 31 December, 2019.
If your function code invokes the v1 APIs natively, such functions will also not work after the sunset date.
