Granular Time Frame Settings for Message Deletion and Editing in Zoho Cliq

Dear Zoho Team,

I hope you're doing well.

Currently, the settings for message deletion and editing in Zoho Cliq are configured globally under:
Admin Panel > Organisation > Configurations > Conversations

  • Delete messages: Time frame to allow message deletion (e.g., 30 days)
  • Edit messages: Time frame to allow message editing (e.g., 30 days)

While this global setting is helpful, we would like to request the ability to set different time frames based on user roles (e.g., agent, moderator, admin).

Specifically, we propose:

  1. Role-based settings for time frames to delete or edit messages.
  2. An option to set the time frame to "Always" for specific roles, such as admins or moderators, ensuring they can delete or edit messages without restrictions.

This enhancement would provide better control and flexibility, aligning with the varying responsibilities of different roles within an organization.
