Help wanted! Excel to Creator export using API.

Hi Guys,
I was just wondering if anyone out there has written some VBA or OOo Basic to export data from a spreadsheet to a Creator app using the API. I understand that data can be imported using the cut and paste on the import option on the relevant from but I am looking for a cleaner method using the API.

Any help or code snippets creatly appreciated!
