Hide Linkname in Url filed

Hide Linkname in Url filed

hi,
I basically want what the url with linkname enabled can do. I.E., I want a url entered which is displayed in the view via a hyperlink. However, I don't want the user to be able to see the linkname field and I want to set the linkname field as always displaying the word "link." Is this possible, or is it a all or none kind of thing?
