How to add the subject to activities under leads. It was there before.

Somehow the titles under CRM / Leads / Open Activities changed. Essentially I am left with [ Status -- Due Date -- From -- To] when it use to be [ Subject -- Status -- Due Date -- From -- To] 

When I entered the task or logged a call I was able to read the subject line in the lead. Now, since the subject is gone, I cannot even access the task or logged call I made (not hyperlinks). The only way I can see it as I entered it is when I go through CRM / Activities.

Obvious inconvenience: When looking at a lead, I can see that there are open and closed activities, but cannot view any detail, including subject.
