How to delete attachments form Zoho mail accounts

How to delete attachments form Zoho mail accounts

I can't find a way to delete attachments from Zoho mail messages, either individually or in bulk.

Searches here are providing conflicting results and often talk about workspace, whereas I am only interested in  how to delete attachments that are seen with the mail system, so might be accessed via the webmail interface.

If there is no way of doing this from the webmail interface is there a way of doing it programatically and if so how?

Being able to remove (delete) attachments from messages whilst keeping the messages themselves is important given space is not unlimited.
