How to include column total in scheduled report?

How to include column total in scheduled report?

I'm sending out a monthly report as a pdf. I have the view set to total a numeric column. When I export it, the total appears at the bottom of the column.

But when the scheduled report is sent the total is not shown.

How can I add a total to the numeric column? I see some old documentation for earlier versions of creator- but it references menu items that don't exist in creator 5.
