I cannot edit form

Hi, I made a change to one of my forms yesterday and something has gone wrong. I am no longer able to edit this form (i can still edit others) and the field I changed doesn't show on the edit form page any longer. But it does show when viewing the form??? any help would be much appreciated all the best David
