IF Formula

For my mailings I want to have a formula field.

IF the field salutation is "Mr" the formula field should give me a "Dear Mister" IF the field salutation is "Mrs" the formula field should give me a "Dear Miss" and IF the field salutation is " " (empty) it should give me a "Dear all"

I tried all the different suggestions I found in the forum but nothing workt.
