Import excel xls bug with portuguese characters

Dear Zoho Creator Admin,

I'm trying to create a new application using the import XLS method in Zoho Creator (a simple table with 7 columns and 400 records). Zoho creator is correctly identifying the column headers and data types, but the portuguese Characters (such as "ç" or "á") aren't properly inserted (I get "�").

My Excel version is 2003.

Is there a solution?
