Import Excel XLS Portuguese Characters bug

Dear ZOHO Creator Admin,

I'm trying to create a new application by importing a simple Excel xls (table with 7 fields and 400 records) in ZOHO Creator. The fields headers and data type are properly identified but the import process does not recognize the Portuguese characters (ex.: "ç" and "á" --> "�").

I'm using:
  • Excel 2003 (english version)
  • Firefox 3.0.5 (english version).

Is there a solution for this problem?
