I had a form working well in Zoho Forms but decided to turn it into a Creator project because Creator allows you to use a camera on an iPad etc. The application is really just a form that allows me to go onsite and fill in a bunch of details- this in turn merges with a Zoho Writer doc and spits out a report for the client.
But I have a couple of issues
- my form was 148 columns but Creator won't take more than 70 via Excel. I got around this by creating each section as a different Excel Sheet, but this imports each section as a separate form.
- I figured that wasn't so much of a problem because I can use 'subforms' to create one big form, but subforms appear to be specifically for situations where there are multiple entires in the subform.
Question- do I have to create my project as one big form, and if yes- how can I do this without having to manually add another 80 fields and their calculations?
- I automatically calculate the score for several aspects of the network.
- what I want is to have a radio button, or checkbox for the question 'Does the client have spam filtering?'
- the answer is binary, yes or no, and I want a 'yes' to have a value of 1
- I fudged this in Zoho Forms by setting validation on a 'Numeric' field to only allow 1 or 0.
- this is not possible in the forms designer in Creator
Question- how do I provide a simple looking field in my Creator form that can be interpreted as a one or a zero?
I'd have to say- having all of the fields available from Forms and being able to directly import from Forms into Creator would be a terrific feature.
