Incompatible with Internet Explorer?

So, is it just me or does Creator not work with Internet Explorer? When I click on the "Record Summary" button, I get the summary view, but it won't go away like it does with Firefox. None of the backgrounds links work either so I'm forced to close the tab/window to get out/away from the page. I'm using IE7.
