Individual Row Buttons in Views Enabled/Disabled ...

Has any thought been given to providing a condition which would cause individual Row Buttons in Views to be either Enabled (like today) or Disabled ... sometimes, a user is not permitted to perform a particular function against a record/row if other fields in the record contain specific values ... currently, it is possible to check for such conditions in the Function code associated with such Buttons ... but good User Interface Principles dictate that users be given visual cues when a Function/Button is not allowed (greyed out in the case of Windows) ... would be nice to be able to do the same with individual Row Buttons.
